With the cases of the new NC-series we present two elegant midi towers with aluminum decorative elements in the front. The cases distinguish themselves by their modern design and the particularly appealing price/performance ratio. The NC-01 and NC-02 are available both with window side panels made from “tempered glass” and closed standard side panels.
The NC-01 offers a very elegant front panel with two aluminum rails at both sides of the MESH front. One 5.25 inch bay is available for the installation of an optical drive. Silver HiFi-style case feet underline the classic look of the case. At the front of the top panel 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0, a two channel fan control and the HD audio connectors are located. Power- and reset button can be found here as well, just like the HDD- and Power-led.
The MESH-front of the NC-02 is framed with aluminum decorative elements on the upper and lower side. The case offers two 5.25 inch drive bays, to either install optical drives, card readers or an additional fan control. The massive, black housing feet ensure excellent stability; they are decoupled to absorb any vibrations.
The interior of both models of the NC-series is based on a thermal two-zone design in which the power supply and the double HDD cage are hidden under a steel cover. Thus, they are both optically and thermally separated from the rest of the installed hardware. Various openings in the cover and the mainboard tray allow a clean cable management.
Both the NC-01 and the NC-02 offer a HDD cage for the tool-free installation of two 3.5 inch hard drives. To the right of the motherboard you can install two 2.5 inch SSDs. An additional 2.5 inch SSD can be mounted behind the motherboard tray. Long graphics cards with a length of up to 415 mm, as well as CPU coolers with a height of up to 163 mm can easily be accommodated inside the cases. Fans of compact water coolers will be pleased to be able to install a 240 or 280 mm cooling solution behind the front.
Power supplies with a maximum depth of 220 mm can be installed in the cases of the NC-series. The PSU is decoupled from the case bottom; an external filter prohibits dust to enter the case.
The ventilation system of the NC-series is particularly effective. One 120 mm fan is pre-installed at the rear of the case. Behind the front, users can install either two 120 or 140 mm fans. Finally, two 120 mm fans can be mounted under the top cover. A magnetic filter helps with dust. Thus, it is easily possible to install even high-powered, heat-intensive gaming hardware inside the cases.
A total of five case fans can be mounted in the NC-01 or NC-02. They can be regulated by the two channel fan control. Channel A controls the front and back fans, channel B handles the top mounted fans. The fan control uses a 4-pin molex connector for power supply.
The NC-01 Window and the NC-02 Window are equipped with a tempered glass side panel on the left. This not only heightens the optical value of the cases, it also underlines the elegant character of the case series.
