The newcomer GT6000 offers an exceptionally large 6.000 mAh battery, which offers double the capacity of the common on-market smartphones. While boosting the battery lifetime, GRETEL was able to fit a large 5,5” IPS-Display from SHARP™ for a great visual experience along with a MediaTek’s MT6737 Quad-Core System-on-a-Chip Solution, bundled with 2 GB of RAM for the appropriate performance for the mainstream market. The GT6000 features a dual camera setup on the rear using a 13 MP Panasonic™ Sensor as well as a 5 MP camera on front for video calls. GRETEL sets the MSRP at competitive 125,00 EUR for the GT6000.
Long Battery Life and efficient Quad-Core SoC
The manufacturer GRETEL aims for high value-for-money ratio when developing new products, which is why GT6000 is equipped with the MediaTek™ MT6737 System-on-a-Chip solution. The MT6737 consists of a 1,3 GHz Quad Core ARM A53 cluster and the Mali-T720 GPU. The SoC is tuned for high efficiency, but can easily meet the requirements of latest Apps and Games. In addition to utilizing the efficient SoC, GRETEL installs a huge 6.000 mAh Lithium-ion polymer battery allowing the smartphone to last 17 days in standby. The GT6000 packs 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM, offering a great user experience. In order to increase the storage space of the smartphone, users can simply insert a microSD card with at least 32 GB of storage to the dual sim-tray.
Esthetic Design and sharp 5,5” IPS Display
The chic design of the premium metal body appears unified and wraps smoothly around the 5,5” Touchscreen with wider viewing angles achieved by the curved edges 2.5D Super Tough Asahi Glass. The SHARP™ IPS display offers 720x1280px resolution with vivid colors and sharp images. The mechanical home button beneath the display comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor, which can be used as a secure and convenient way to unlock the Smartphone or Apps. GRETEL offers the GT6000 in the colors black, blue and gold to match most user’s preference. 13 MP Dual Camera with Bokeh Effect
GRETEL equipped the GT6000 with a dual camera setup, where the main camera is based on a 13 MP IC MN34172 from Panasonic™ which supports f/2.2 aperture and second camera on 1,3 MP IC as support. The second camera is used to achieve the bokeh effect, known from high-end cameras, adding a different depth and focus to the pictures. The cameras are supported by a dual LED flash light for dark environments. The front camera with f/2.6 aperture offers a resolution of 5 MP and has been tuned for video calls and taking selfies. The front flash light can be utilized as a support, when required.
Android 7.0 (Nougat) & Connectivity
The GT6000 comes with the pre-installed Android 7.0 (Nougat) as operating system, offering the latest features and efficiency. GRETEL has added a customized UI to simplify the navigation and improve the visuals. Users can choose the preferred system language from a long list of supported languages. Apps can be conveniently downloaded from the Google™ PlayStore, which is a crucial part for most users. Besides the stock apps and features, a new function, called Parallel Space, has been implemented. The function can be found under the smartphone settings and allows users to login with a second account in chosen apps.
Connectivity is another important field in which the GT6000 can cover more than just the basics. In addition to the Wifi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS support, both 4G and 3G Networks are covered, including FDD-LTE 2.100, 1.800, 2.600 ,900, 800 MHz (B1/3/7/8/20) as well as WCDMA 2.100, 900 MHz (B1/8). Faster charging of the smartphone is possible thanks to the adoption of 9V/2A fast charging technology.
