TAIPEI, Taiwan, August 20, 2024 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced the release of three pioneering gaming monitors during Gamescom 2024: the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP, ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG, and ROG Swift 360 Hz PG27AQNR.
The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP makes history as the world’s first 1440p 480 Hz gaming monitor, boasting an anti-glare WOLED panel with a 26.5-inch display. On the other hand, the ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG features a 26.5-inch QHD QD-OLED panel with a 360 Hz refresh rate and anti-reflection technology. Both models include ASUS-exclusive Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) and OLED Anti-Flicker technologies, reaffirming ROG’s commitment to providing unmatched gaming visuals. With both QD-OLED and WOLED options, ROG offers gamers an unrivaled level of flexibility and performance. Also unveiled was the ROG Swift 360 Hz PG27AQNR, designed for competitive gamers with its QHD Ultrafast IPS display and G-SYNC® Pulsar technology, making it a top contender for esports performance.
All three monitors feature a premium three-year warranty. Additionally, the new OLED models come equipped with OLED Care+, offering advanced panel protection features such as Taskbar Detection, Outer Dimming Control, and Global Dimming Control. These settings are easily accessible via ASUS DisplayWidget Center, which also offers customizable HDR settings, allowing gamers to optimize their visuals based on personal preferences. These features will soon be integrated across more ROG monitors.
ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP
The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP stands as the first OLED gaming monitor to deliver 1440p visuals with an extraordinary 480 Hz refresh rate. The 26.5-inch WOLED panel includes an anti-glare coating, a 0.03 ms response time, and an innovative RWGB subpixel layout for clearer text and sharper visuals. The monitor also introduces the ROG AI Assistant, which includes features like AI Visual, AI Crosshair, AI Sniper, AI ShadowBoost, and the MOBA Map Helper to refine gaming experiences. The PG27AQDP is priced at €1099 MSRP.
ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG
The ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG features a 26.5-inch, 2560 x 1440 QD-OLED panel with an anti-reflection coating, 360 Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03 ms response time. Its enhanced heatsink design ensures optimal thermal management, while the compact base design maximizes desk space and includes a handy mobile phone slot. The monitor also includes Dynamic Brightness Boost for improved luminance at low APL levels and AI Visual for automatic screen adjustments based on content. Equipped with a USB-C® port offering 90-watt Power Delivery, the XG27ACDNG will be available in early Q4 2024.
ROG Swift 360 Hz PG27AQNR
The ROG Swift 360 Hz PG27AQNR redefines LCD gaming with its 27-inch QHD Ultrafast IPS panel, specifically engineered for esports. Featuring a 360 Hz refresh rate and G-SYNC® Pulsar technology, the PG27AQNR offers unmatched motion clarity and smooth visuals. It includes DisplayPort™ 1.4 with DSC, dual HDMI® 2.1 ports, and a USB port for firmware updates. Expect this monitor on the market in Q4 2024.
