The Apex Pro Gen 3 continues this legacy by incorporating the latest OmniPoint 3.0 technology, alongside the industry’s first Hall Effect Gen 3 sensor. This combination offers gamers greater speed, precision, and durability, giving them a substantial edge in fast-paced games. Additionally, the Apex Pro Gen 3 series introduces a range of software features, such as Rapid Tap, Rapid Trigger, and Protection Mode, all accessible through SteelSeries GG QuickSet. This feature allows users to select profiles designed by championship-winning esports players, ensuring optimized settings for various games.

With OmniPoint 3.0 technology, gamers can now customize actuation levels across 40 settings, from a highly responsive 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm, achieving an ultra-fast response time of 0.54 ms. This makes the new switches 11 times faster than standard mechanical keyboards, enhancing player performance in critical gaming moments.

The new software suite further enhances the gaming experience. Protection Mode helps prevent accidental key presses by reducing the sensitivity of surrounding keys. Rapid Tap allows gamers to prioritize the last pressed key in a sequence without needing to release the previous key, making actions like counter-strafing or crouch-jumping more efficient. Rapid Trigger ensures that gamers can press the same key repeatedly without waiting for it to return to its starting position, improving responsiveness for button spamming in fast-paced games. With GG QuickSet, optimal settings for specific games are just a few clicks away, providing pro-grade presets that adjust actuation levels, lighting, and key response settings.

The SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 Series comes in three models: a full-size keyboard, a tenkeyless (TKL) version, and a TKL Wireless option. The full-size version offers a comprehensive setup for gamers who prefer a traditional layout. Meanwhile, the TKL version provides more desk space, making it ideal for competitive gaming events, while the wireless model offers the freedom to game or work from anywhere, perfect for users who prefer a minimalistic setup.

Beyond its software features, the SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 Series also introduces several hardware improvements. The keyboards now include premium switch stabilizers, which reduce typing wobble, as well as factory-lubed switches for a smoother, more satisfying feel. The addition of dampening foam helps reduce noise, creating a “thockier” or “creamy” sound that many users find appealing. The Apex Pro Gen 3 is the first keyboard series to use the new Hall Effect Sensor Gen 3 technology, which improves key accuracy and further enhances the overall gaming experience.

The Apex Pro Gen 3 Series keyboards are now available at SteelSeries.com and through global retailers. Pricing for the keyboards starts at $199.99 for the full-size Apex Pro Gen 3, $189.99 for the TKL model, and $249.99 for the TKL Wireless version. European and Asia-Pacific regions will see slightly different pricing.
