SilverStone has launched the ALTA D1, a new modular case aimed at high-end desktop computers, workstations, and small business servers. First showcased at Computex 2024, the ALTA D1 offers great flexibility with its customizable design. Users can swap out different parts to suit their needs, such as replacing the second power supply bay with extra 5.25-inch storage drives or adding more cooling if fewer add-on cards are used.

The case supports large motherboards up to 15.12 x 13.2 inches, with 11 slots for expansion cards, making it suitable for even the largest graphics or AI cards. It features three fans for cooling: two 180 mm intake fans and one 140 mm exhaust, along with additional room for server-grade cooling solutions.

The top compartment can hold one or two power supplies, or the space can be used for extra storage. Front drive cages allow for more storage options, and users can even add a third power supply in the front lower section. Priced at $799.99, the Silverstone ALTA D1 is available now, with optional wheels available for an extra $20.
