Pimax, a leading name in virtual reality technology, revealed its latest VR headset, the Crystal Super, at CES 2025. This new headset amazed visitors with its stunning display quality and unique features, setting a new benchmark in the VR industry.

The Crystal Super offers a resolution of 3840×3840 pixels per eye, delivering lifelike visuals that are incredibly clear. It is the first VR headset to achieve retina-level clarity, making virtual worlds appear more realistic than ever. Using glass aspheric lenses, it provides 57 pixels per degree (PPD) and a wide horizontal view of over 120°. With a brightness level of 280 nits, the images remain sharp and vibrant even in well-lit environments.

During the event, Pimax demonstrated the 57 PPD QLED lens, which will be available soon. Other options, including the 50 PPD QLED and micro-OLED lenses, are also set to launch in early 2025.

In addition to the Crystal Super, Pimax introduced the Pimax Crystal Light, a simpler and more affordable headset. It is especially popular among flight and racing game enthusiasts and was demonstrated by partners such as Next Level Racing, MOZA Racing, and Podium. Companies like Moxi also showcased its use in sports training, while CAD FORGE demonstrated its capabilities in professional design work.

Pimax also presented the 60G Airlink, which allows users to experience wireless PCVR gaming with minimal delay. The updated version now supports a 90 Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals for a more immersive experience.

Robin Weng, the founder of Pimax, expressed his enthusiasm about the positive feedback at CES. He shared his excitement, stating, “It’s always exciting to meet users at CES and see them try our headsets. This year is special because it’s the first time we’re showing the Crystal Super. The positive reactions encourage us to keep improving VR technology.”
