Corsair has unveiled the FRAME 4000D, a new mid-tower PC case, during CES 2025. This is the first product in Corsair’s FRAME modular series, designed to let users replace or upgrade parts like the front panel, front I/O ports, and motherboard tray.

The FRAME 4000D features a transparent side panel on the left, giving it a sleek appearance. Its dimensions are 487 mm × 239 mm × 489 mm, with a total volume of 56.6 litres. The case supports E-ATX motherboards and smaller ones, along with space for up to seven PCIe expansion slots. It is available in black and white colours.

To make cooling customisable, Corsair has introduced the InfiniRail steel track system, allowing for easy installation of fans of different sizes on the front and top. The right side of the case also includes a mounting bracket for fans. The case can accommodate CPU coolers up to 170 mm tall, graphics cards up to 370 mm long (with vertical installation supported for up to four slots), and power supplies up to 220 mm long. However, the anti-sag bracket for the graphics card is incompatible with a right-side fan or E-ATX motherboard. For storage, the case includes two slots for 3.5/2.5-inch drives and two slots for 2.5-inch drives.

The front I/O panel is equipped with two USB-A 5Gbps ports, one USB-C 10Gbps port, and a combined audio jack for headphones and microphones.

Corsair has prioritised user-friendly design features in the FRAME 4000D. Dust screens are included on the front panel, power supply area, and fan positions to keep the interior clean. The steel mesh front panel features 3D “Y” shapes for better air intake. A cable cover on the motherboard’s right side helps hide wires, although it is incompatible with a fan in the same area. Pre-installed screws simplify the power supply installation process, and users can choose between two side panels for the power compartment: one mesh and one translucent. Corsair has also made 3D printing files available, enabling users to create customised parts.

Corsair FRAME 4000D Availability

The FRAME 4000D is available in three versions. The basic model is priced at $94.99. An upgraded version, which includes three RS120 PWM fans without lighting, costs $99.99.
