Elgato Releases Wave Link 2.0 With New Audio Features
Elgato has introduced Wave Link 2.0, an upgraded version of its audio management software. This update brings new features to make voice quality better and audio setup easier. The software is designed for content creators, streamers, and professionals who want clear sound without complicated settings.
One of the biggest additions is Voice Focus, a tool created with ai|coustics. It helps remove background noise, room echo, and unwanted sounds, making voices sound clearer and more professional. This is useful for people who work in noisy environments or don’t have special soundproofing. Users don’t need technical knowledge to use it—just turn it on, and it improves audio instantly.
Wave Link 2.0 also makes audio routing much easier. One-Click Audio Routing allows users to quickly assign sounds to different channels. Other features like App Grouping (which combines similar apps under one channel), Input Channel Renaming (which lets users name channels as they like), and Channel Hiding (which removes unused channels) help keep everything organized. These changes make it easier to manage sound without wasting time.
The software includes built-in audio effects such as Compressor, De-Esser, Equalizer, and ReverbFX to improve sound quality. Users can also add third-party audio plugins for extra customization. Elgato Marketplace provides additional effects and presets made by audio experts, allowing creators to enhance their sound further. A Sound Check tool lets users test their settings before going live or joining a meeting.
Wave Link 2.0 works smoothly with Elgato Stream Deck, allowing users to control their audio with one click. Once the settings are exported to Stream Deck, it acts like a hardware mixer, making adjustments quick and easy without opening software menus.
