Sony has officially confirmed Days Gone Remastered, an improved version of the open-world survival horror game. The announcement came during February’s State of Play event. The remastered version will come with better graphics and many new features, including Permadeath Mode, a more challenging experience where dying means starting over; Speedrun Mode, a way to complete the game as fast as possible; Horde Strikes, new battle challenges with large groups of enemies; an enhanced Photo Mode with improved tools for taking in-game pictures; new accessibility features to make the game easier for players with disabilities, and more content to be revealed later.
