Rebellion’s Atomfall is out now – A thrilling survival-action game
Rebellion, the game studio known for Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, has released a new game called Atomfall. The game is now available on Game Pass and can be bought for Xbox, Windows PC, PlayStation. It can also be played on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Good news for Steam Deck owners – Atomfall is fully certified to run on it.
Atomfall is a survival-action game set in the UK after a nuclear disaster. It is inspired by a real-life event, the Windscale nuclear accident of the 1950s. The game follows a fictional story where players must explore a dangerous world, meet strange characters, and uncover the truth about what happened at the Atom Plant. Players will also have to escape from a Quarantine Zone filled with mysteries and dangers.
The Standard Edition of Atomfall is available both digitally and as a physical copy for consoles, published by Fireshine Games. If players want extra content, they can get the Deluxe Edition, which is only available digitally. The Deluxe Edition includes the Basic Supply Bundle DLC, which offers extra items, a special melee weapon variant, more loot caches, and a recipe for crafting items. It also comes with the Enhanced Supply Bundle, which includes an exclusive pistol variant, a unique metal detector skin, and character upgrades. On top of this, Deluxe Edition owners will get access to the Story Expansion Pack: Wicked Isle DLC when it is released. Players who buy the Standard Edition can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition later by purchasing the Deluxe Upgrade.
The game offers a single-player survival-action experience inspired by science fiction, folk horror, and Cold War history.
