Acer has unveiled updates to its Predator series, introducing three new AI-enhanced gaming laptops and a high-performance gaming monitor. The announcement includes the Predator Helios 16 AI, Predator Helios 18 AI, Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, and the Predator XB323QX monitor, each designed to offer advanced gaming and productivity experiences.

Predator Helios 16 AI and Helios 18 AI

The Predator Helios 16 AI and Helios 18 AI laptops target gamers and tech enthusiasts. Equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs, they deliver fast performance for gaming and creative tasks. Enhanced cooling technology, including ultra-thin AeroBlade 3D fans and liquid metal thermal grease, ensures better heat management.

The Acer Helios 16 AI features a 16-inch OLED display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, while the Helios 18 AI offers an 18-inch 4K Mini LED screen with up to 1000 nits brightness. Both models support NVIDIA G-SYNC, offering smooth visuals. With configurations of up to 192 GB RAM and 6 TB PCIe Gen 5 storage, these laptops cater to gamers requiring significant memory and storage.

Both laptops come with Acer’s MagKey 4.0 mechanical switches for faster keyboard response, DTS:X Ultra audio, and connectivity options like Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 5 ports. They also include PredatorSense, an app for performance and lighting control.

The Helios Neo 16S AI is a more affordable option, featuring a slim chassis under 19.9 mm. Powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti GPUs, it offers strong performance for gaming and creative tasks. Its OLED display supports a 240 Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC for clear visuals.

The Neo 16S includes 5th Gen AeroBlade fans for improved cooling, PredatorSense for real-time adjustments, and storage options up to 2 TB.

Acer’s new Predator XB323QX monitor features a 31.5-inch 5K IPS display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 0.5 ms response time.
