Unboxing
Unboxing the Arzopa Z1RC was very exciting. The box looked really nice and strong. It was white, with the Arzopa name and logo in the center. Around the logo, there was a cool wave design that made it look stylish. On the back of the box, there was some basic information about the monitor, a QR code for customer support, and details about the warranty.
When I opened the box, the monitor was right on top, kept safe and secure. Under the monitor, I found the user manual, warranty card, and three cables USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C, and Mini-HDMI to HDMI. Each cable was stored in its own space, and they all had a little strip tie to keep them neat. The cables felt strong and well-made, which was really nice.

Closer Look
After using the ARZOPA Z1RC monitor for a few days, I really liked its design. It’s very light, weighing just 0.66 kg, so I could easily carry it in my bag with my laptop. It’s slim and compact, measuring 14 x 9.3 x 0.36 inches, which means it fits into small spaces without any trouble.
The monitor has narrow bezels and a metal body with smooth, curved corner edges, giving it a modern and premium look. The bottom bezel is a bit thicker and has the Arzopa branding on it, which looks nice.
On the rear side, there’s an adjustable kickstand at the top that also has rubber feet. The kickstand can be folded out up to 80° for adjustable viewing angles. Additionally, the bottom of the monitor has rubber feet, which help keep it stable and steady in its place. I used the monitor on my desk, and it stood steady at every angle I tried even monitor can stand vertically, providing excellent stability and flexibility.
All the ports and buttons are on the left side, including a mini-HDMI port, two USB-C ports, and physical buttons for power/return and volume/brightness controls and a OSD button. The right side is clean except for a speaker grille. Personally, I found the controls and ports on the left side very convenient to use.
Display
The screen of ARZOPA Z1RC is really amazing. It is big, 16 inches, and gives you a wider view, which is great for playing games, watching videos, or doing work.
The resolution is 2560×1600, so everything looks very clear and sharp. The colors are bright and real because of the 100% sRGB color quality. The screen is also anti-glare, which means it doesn’t shine too much in bright light and is easy to watch.
The 16:10 size gives extra space to see more things at once, like when you’re gaming, watching videos or working on projects. It feels like the images and videos are popping out of the screen because the quality is so good.
OSD Controls
The OSD menu offers options to adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, ECO settings, DCR, and colour temperature. However, most users will likely use the OSD mainly to switch between sources, as the monitor supports two connected devices at the same time.
Audio
The sound from the monitor’s speakers is okay but not great. It’s fine for short videos or video calls, but the sound doesn’t have much depth. If you love listening to music or watching movies with great sound, you might not like the built-in speakers. But I used my Bluetooth headphones instead, and the sound was much better. So, it wasn’t a big problem for me.
User Experience
Using the Arzopa Z1RC monitor was super easy. It worked right away with my laptop and computer. I didn’t have to install anything or spend time setting it up. I could quickly start a presentation on my laptop and then switch to other tasks without any problems. This made it really simple to use the monitor wherever I wanted.
I also tried the monitor in portrait mode, and it was a wonderful experience. I used it to view WhatsApp Web chats and watch YouTube Shorts, and everything looked amazing. The screen displayed the chats and videos clearly, making it enjoyable and convenient to use.
