Ubisoft has revealed new details about Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the upcoming action-RPG set in feudal Japan. In a recent livestream on the German channel Frag Nart, the game’s creative director, Jonathan Dumont, talked about its length. He said that the main story will take around 40 hours to complete if players only focus on the main missions.
This places Assassin’s Creed Shadows between Assassin’s Creed Origins (which had a 30-hour campaign) and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (which took over 45 hours). Ubisoft seems to be aiming for a balanced experience, as some players felt that earlier games had too many side missions, making them feel too long.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Extra Content
Even though the main story is 40 hours, the game will have many more activities for those who love to explore. Players will be able to find hidden secrets, take on side quests, and enjoy the open world. Ubisoft has not shared full details on these extra activities yet, but fans can expect plenty to do beyond the main story. More information will likely be revealed as the Assassin’s Creed Shadows release gets closer.
