London, United Kingdom – November 24, 2015 – Multiplay, organiser of the UK’s largest gaming festival, Insomnia, and subsidiary of GAME Digital plc (“GAME Digital”), the UK’s leading video gaming specialist, is delighted to confirm Insomnia56 will feature the world’s first competitive play of Battleborn as part of a huge line-up of the this year’s greatest games and next year’s most anticipated titles.
Bandai Namco will play a huge part at Insomnia56, with Dark Souls III; one of 2016’s most wanted games playable at the show.
HTC marks its debut at Insomnia festivals with the world leading HTC Vive headset, showcasing state-of-the-art virtual reality technology with demos that amaze and inspire. Joining these stand out games and technology brands are behemoths of the gaming industry, including Razer, ASUS, Astro Gaming, Overclockers UK, Palringo and 3DU, with more yet to be announced in the near future.
Throughout the weekend, the UKs biggest eSports tournaments will be taking place, including the UK’s largest Hearthstone tournament, powered by GAME, with a prize pool of $30,000. UK qualifiers begin December 1st, and are open to all UK based players.

Insomnia56 NEC will play host to a number of activities and sessions making for the biggest Insomnia yet. Visitors can attend shows in the main stage to see special guest appearances, panel talks, first looks at brand new indie titles, cosplay competitions and more. Further attractions include the BYOC LAN hall, Minecraft zone, indie zone, tabletop gaming zone, retro zone, and retail zone.
