be quiet! has just announced its new Light Base series PC cases on September 26. These cases, called the Light Base 600 and Light Base 900, are designed for a clean and modern look, featuring a panoramic “sea view” window without any pillars. The standout feature is a large ARGB light strip that runs vertically along the front, giving the cases a bright, colorful design.
Design and Features
The Light Base 600 and 900 cases allow users to easily adjust the layout of their PC. They support different motherboard orientations—standard, inverted, and horizontal—thanks to a back-inserted motherboard design. A flexible bracket is included to help keep graphics cards steady, no matter how they’re installed.
The Light Base 600 is a mid-tower case with a total volume of 59.7 liters. It supports standard ATX motherboards and comes with 7 expansion slots for adding extra hardware. On the other hand, the larger Light Base 900 is a full-tower case, with a total volume of 80.9 liters, supporting bigger E-ATX and XL-ATX motherboards. It has 8 expansion slots for more advanced setups.
Both cases also include a modern front I/O panel, located on the right side of the front. It comes with two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port for faster data transfer, and an audio jack for easy access.
Availability
The Light Base 600 and 900 will be available starting October 10. However, be quiet! has not yet announced the prices for these models.
