CHIEFTEC introduces Hunter 3 and Night Hunter gaming cases
CHIEFTEC has announced two new gaming cases, the Hunter 3 (GS-03B-OP) and Night Hunter (GS-03B-BLK-OP). Both cases support back-connect motherboards, including ASUS BTF and MSI Project Zero, which help in keeping cables hidden for a cleaner look.
Hunter 3 – Bigger and Better Than Before
The CHIEFTEC Hunter 3 is an upgrade from the previous Hunter 2 series. It has a stronger and wider chassis, measuring 440 x 238 x 450 mm, making it more spacious for powerful gaming setups. The case has a tempered glass side panel to showcase internal components and a steel front panel with large perforations for better airflow. A removable dust filter is also included.
Inside, there is more space for cooling and large components:
- Supports radiators up to 360 mm at the front and top.
- Fits CPU coolers up to 178 mm tall.
- Allows graphics cards up to 425 mm long, making it compatible with most high-end GPUs.
The Hunter 3 comes with four pre-installed 120 mm A-RGB fans. These fans can sync with the motherboard and adjust speed through a fan hub. The front panel includes:
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C
- 2x USB 3.0
- Audio-out (HD-Audio)
- Mic-in
Night Hunter – A Blacked-Out, High-Airflow Version
The CHIEFTEC Night Hunter is a different version of the Hunter 3 with a focus on maximum airflow. Instead of A-RGB fans, it comes with four 140 mm black fans for strong cooling without extra lighting. Other than the fan difference, it shares the same features as the Hunter 3.
Motherboard and Storage Support
Both cases support Mini-ITX, microATX, ATX, and E-ATX motherboards. For storage, they include multiple drive bays:
- 3x 2.5″ and 1x 3.5″ slots
- Or 2x 2.5″ and 2x 3.5″ slots
