Corsair has launched its new 9000D RGB AIRFLOW super full-tower case, a follow-up to the popular OBSIDIAN 1000D. This case is designed for high-performance computer builds and is now available for $499.99.

Key Features of the 9000D RGB AIRFLOW Case

The standout feature of the Corsair OBSIDIAN 9000D RGB AIRFLOW is its InfiniRail fan mounting system, which simplifies fan installation. This system can support up to 8 120mm fans on the front and top of the case. It also has the flexibility to accommodate 3 140mm fans or 2 larger 200mm fans. The case is ready for advanced water cooling setups, supporting either two 480mm radiators or one 420mm radiator.

Additional cooling options include space for 2 more 120mm fans at the rear and 3 120mm fans above the motherboard. These areas can also fit radiators of matching sizes, allowing for robust cooling configurations.

Dual-System Setup

One of the key selling points of the 9000D RGB AIRFLOW is its ability to handle two systems at once. The main system supports larger motherboards up to the SSI-EEB standard, with 8 expansion slots and room for graphics cards up to 400mm in length. A secondary system can fit ITX motherboards and dual-slot graphics cards, making it ideal for users who want to run two systems within the same case.

Powering these setups is easy, with room for two power supplies: a standard 225mm ATX and a smaller SFX (L) unit.

Storage and Connectivity

This case also offers extensive storage options, including room for 6 2.5-inch hard drives and 5 3.5-inch hard drives. The back compartment features 30mm of space for cable management.

For connectivity, the front panel includes two USB Type-C ports, four USB Type-A ports, and a power button with RGB lighting. There are also separate audio jacks and a restart button for convenience.

At $499.99, the Corsair Obsidian 9000D RGB AIRFLOW offers a range of features that make it an excellent choice for PC builders who need a spacious case with versatile cooling options and the ability to run two systems simultaneously.
