ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN Launches on May 30 – A New Co-op Survival Adventure
Bandai Namco has officially announced the release date for ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN, a new multiplayer co-op action survival game set in the world of Elden Ring. Developed by FromSoftware, the game will launch on May 30, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam).
Unlike the original Elden Ring, which focused on an open-world single-player experience with optional multiplayer, ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN is a standalone game that focuses on team-based co-op survival. Players will form teams of three or play solo as they battle against dangerous enemies and terrifying bosses in a constantly changing world.
At the start, players can pick from eight different characters called Nightfarers. Each Nightfarer has unique abilities that help in battle. As the game progresses, players will need to explore, collect weapons, and upgrade their skills to survive.
The game is set in a three-day-and-night survival cycle where players must fight through tough challenges. During the first two days, players battle enemies, find better gear, and prepare for the final fight. On the third day, if they survive, they must face a Nightlord, a powerful new boss. A dangerous circle of fire moves across the map, forcing players to keep moving and making quick decisions.
Even if players fail a mission, they won’t lose everything. They will earn relics that can be used to upgrade and customise their Nightfarer, making them stronger for the next attempt.
Players can pre-order the game now, choosing from three different editions. The Standard Edition costs $39.99, the Deluxe Edition is $54.99, and the Collector’s Edition is $199.99. Pre-orders are available on all digital platforms and major game stores.
