GALAX has introduced the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 3X, a new option in its RTX 4080 series. This graphics card is designed to be one of the most affordable choices in the lineup, sitting below GALAX’s higher-end models like SG, ST, EX Gamer, and HOF.

The Graphics card has a sporty design with a plastic cover and uses three fans for cooling. Its cooling system is 3 slots thick and includes two aluminium fin blocks connected by heat pipes to manage heat effectively. The circuit board (PCB) only covers two-thirds of the card’s length, allowing air from the third fan and part of the second fan to pass through the heatsink and exit from an opening in the backplate. This design helps with airflow and keeps the card cool.

Unlike some other models, the fans do not have lighting. The only light comes from a simple GeForce RTX logo on top. The card does not come pre-overclocked but includes a “1-click OC” mode in GALAX’s software, which allows users to boost performance with a single click.

Inside, the RTX 4080 SUPER 3X is powered by NVIDIA’s AD103 chip. It features 10,240 CUDA cores, 80 RT cores for better graphics, 320 Tensor cores for AI tasks, 112 ROPs, and 320 TMUs for texture handling. The card also includes 64 MB of L2 cache to improve performance. It is equipped with 16 GB of fast GDDR6X memory running at 23 Gbps, connected through a 256-bit wide interface, giving a total memory speed of 736 GB/s.

The GALAX GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 3X is designed for gamers and creators who want reliable performance without spending too much. It provides a good balance of features and cost, making it a practical choice for many users.
