Gigabyte Unveils New Mini PC GB-BRU5-225H with Intel Core Ultra 5 225H and 96GB RAM
Gigabyte has introduced a new mini PC, the GB-BRU5-225H, featuring an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor and support for up to 96GB of RAM. While the company has not yet announced the price or release date, based on its past models, we can expect it to be an affordable option.
The GB-BRU5-225H is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 5 225H, a processor with 14 cores and 14 threads. It includes four high-performance cores, eight power-efficient cores, and two low-power cores for handling different types of tasks. Since this mini PC does not have a separate graphics card, it relies on Intel Arc 130T integrated graphics with eight Xe cores for visuals. The system supports up to 96GB of DDR5-6400 memory through two SO-DIMM slots, which is more than enough for everyday tasks, office work, and even some creative applications. Its compact size—12.6 x 3.4 x 11.9 cm—makes it easy to fit in small spaces.
The GB-BRU5-225H offers a variety of ports for different needs, including two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one Thunderbolt 4 port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a 2.5Gb Ethernet port, and an audio jack. For storage, the mini PC provides two M.2 2280 slots for fast SSDs, allowing users to expand storage as needed. There is also an M.2 2230 slot for adding Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.
Gigabyte has designed this mini PC with VESA support, meaning it can be easily mounted behind a monitor or on a wall, helping to keep desks tidy.
