GTA VI PC Version May Arrive in Early 2026, According to Corsair Investor Call
A new update about Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) has come from an unexpected source. While most leaks come from insiders or unofficial sources, this time, Corsair Gaming, a well-known PC peripherals company, has given a possible release window for the PC version of GTA VI.
PC Version Expected a Few Months After Console Launch
Ronald van Veen, Corsair Gaming’s financial VP, mentioned during an investor call that GTA VI could launch on PC in early 2026. This suggests that the game will first release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in late 2025, with the PC version following soon after.
Rockstar Games, the developer of GTA VI, has a history of delaying PC releases. For example, GTA V was released on consoles in 2013 but came to PC in 2015. Many PC gamers feared a similar long wait for GTA VI, but this news hints at a much shorter gap—just a few months instead of years.
Corsair’s Prediction on Gaming Trends
During the investor call, van Veen explained how gaming trends affect hardware sales. He noted that while many people are playing older games, new titles like GTA VI could push players to upgrade their gaming PCs. He also said that Corsair expects a rise in sales of high-performance graphics cards and gaming peripherals once GTA VI launches.
Take-Two CEO Comments on PC Sales
Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, has also commented on PC gaming. CEO Strauss Zelnick stated in an interview that PC sales can contribute up to 40% of total game sales. However, he also mentioned that Rockstar has traditionally released games on consoles first, then later on PC.
Possible Delays Still Expected
Although this news gives hope for a faster PC release, it is important to remember that GTA VI has already faced delays. Rockstar has been developing the game for over a decade, and its release date might change again. For now, fans are eagerly waiting for an official confirmation from Rockstar Games.
