KingDian H41 DDR4 3200Mhz Memory Review

KingDian H41 DDR4 3200Mhz Memory Review

Shenzhen KingDian Technology Co., Ltd. started in 2010. The company makes SSDs and DDR memory. It focuses on fast, reliable, and budget-friendly storage solutions. The KingDian H41 DDR4 memory is one of its quality products. It is designed for smooth performance and better cooling. The RAM comes in different speeds and sizes, making it a good choice for gamers and daily users.

KingDian has a strong global presence and follows strict quality control. This ensures that its memory products are stable, efficient, and long-lasting. I want to thank KingDian for sending me the H41 kits for this review.

Unboxing

The KingDian H41 DDR4 memory comes in a single simple packaging. The packaging is colourful and looks nice, but the RAM itself does not have RGB lighting. Inside the box, there is one 16GB stick, which is packed to keep them safe.

When you open the box, you will find another layer of protection. The RAM is placed inside a clear plastic case, which holds it tightly. This helps keep it safe during shipping. The RAM was fixed firmly in place, and I had to use a little force to take it out. Overall, the unboxing experience was good. The packaging is well-designed and does a great job of protecting the RAM.

Closer Look

The KingDian H41 has a metal heat spreader that covers the memory chips. This helps keep the RAM cool, so it can work smoothly even when used for long hours. The RAM has a 6-layer PCB, which makes the signal strong and helps it last longer.

The heat spreader is a little taller than usual, which helps in better cooling. It has a nice pattern on it, which gives it a stylish look. The heat spreader is black, and the patterns make it look even better. This RAM is only available in black, and there is no white version of this model.

The KingDian H41 RAM is available in different capacities to meet various needs. It comes in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB options, making it suitable for both basic and high-performance systems.

KingDian

On one side of the RAM, there is KingDian branding, making it look clean and simple. The other side has a small sticker that shows details like memory size, speed, and serial number. The KingDian H41 RAM has a net weight of 36g and a gross weight of 72g (including packaging). This makes it lightweight while still having a strong build with a metal heat spreader for better cooling.

KingDian uses good-quality memory chips from well-known brands like Micron, Samsung, and SK Hynix. This makes the RAM work better with different motherboards and helps it run smoothly. The RAM has a standard 288-pin UDIMM design, so it can easily fit into most desktop motherboards that support DDR4 memory.

This RAM also offers different speeds, with frequencies of 2400MHz, 2666MHz, and 3200MHz. Higher frequencies help in faster data transfer, improving system performance, especially for gaming and multitasking.

The CAS latency varies depending on the frequency:

  • CL15-15-15-35 for 2400MHz
  • CL19-19-19-43 for 2666MHz
  • CL22-22-22-52 for 3200MHz

These latency values indicate the response time of the RAM. Lower latency means slightly faster performance, but all versions of the KingDian H41 are designed to provide stable and reliable operation.

Test System

Before switching to DDR5 memory, I received the KingDian H41 DDR4 RAM for review. Previously, I was using T-Force 2400MHz RAM, but since I planned to upgrade to DDR5, I decided to test this RAM first. This review is based on my experience with the KingDian H41 before moving to DDR5.

One issue I faced during installation was the height of the RAM’s heat sink. Since my case has limited space, I had to remove one fan from my CPU cooler to fit both RAM sticks. Budget gamers should keep this in mind—if you’re using a case with tight space, the taller RAM heat sink might cause clearance issues, especially with AIO coolers. In my setup, I had to remove a cooler fan to install both RAM sticks properly.

Testing Results

AIDA64 Cache & Memory Benchmark

The AIDA64 Memory Benchmark results from the stock frequency can be seen in the picture below. While the latency is on the higher side, the read, write, and copy speeds are quite good, delivering solid performance for a DDR4 memory module.

Final Thoughts

The KingDian H41 is a good choice for budget users who need DDR4 memory with a heat sink. It comes in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB options with speeds of 2400MHz, 2666MHz, and 3200MHz. The built-in heat spreader helps with cooling, and the 6-layer PCB ensures stable performance. However, the RAM is slightly tall, and in smaller cases, it may cause clearance issues. I had to remove one fan from my CPU cooler to fit both sticks, so budget builders should check case space before buying.

Before this, I was using a 32GB 2400MHz kit, and I saw a good improvement with the KingDian H41. While testing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC, I noticed 2 to 4 extra FPS, and in crowded areas, there was less stuttering, making the experience smoother. We also ran AIDA64 and SiSoftware Sandra benchmarks, and the results were good for DDR4 memory.

While DDR5 is the new standard, not everyone can upgrade right away. The KingDian H41 is a solid option for budget gamers or anyone building a DDR4 system. It offers stable performance, a good design, and affordable pricing. We recommend it useful for those who need a reliable and cost-effective DDR4 RAM.
