Kingston Technology Company, a well-known name in computer memory products, has announced its new memory modules called FURY Renegade DDR5 CUDIMMs. These memory modules are specifically designed for Intel’s latest 800-series chipset, which was previously known by the code name “Arrow Lake.”

Kingston FURY Renegade CUDIMM Features

Kingston’s new memory modules, called FURY Renegade CUDIMMs, are designed to reach speeds starting from 8400 MT/s (Mega Transfers per second). They come in two types:

  1. RGB CUDIMMs – These modules have colorful lighting effects.
  2. Non-RGB CUDIMMs – These modules have no lighting effects.

These CUDIMMs are available as 24 GB single modules or 48 GB kits. The kits include two 24 GB modules, making them suitable for dual-channel setups, which are often used in gaming or high-performance computers.

Although CUDIMMs and standard UDIMMs look similar and have the same 288-pin connector, CUDIMMs are optimized for Intel’s 800-series motherboards. If you plan to use FURY memory on an 800-series motherboard, it’s a good idea to check compatibility. Kingston offers a tool called the Kingston Configurator, where you can check if a particular memory module will work with your motherboard model. Some motherboards also provide a list of recommended memory modules, called the Qualified Vendor List (QVL), to help users choose compatible memory options.

Kingston Technology’s release of the FURY Renegade DDR5 CUDIMMs marks an exciting development for users of Intel’s new 800-series chipset. With options for both RGB and non-RGB designs and high-speed performance starting at 8400 MT/s, these new memory modules provide powerful and reliable memory options for advanced computing needs.
