Microsoft expands Copilot+ AI features to Intel and AMD PCs

Microsoft has announced that more Windows AI features are coming to Intel and AMD-powered computers. These features were previously only available on devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors. The update is part of the March 27 Preview update (KB505365) and includes tools like Live Captions, Cocreator, Restyle Image, and Image Creator.
Users with Intel Core Ultra 200V and AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors can now enjoy the same AI-powered tools as Snapdragon X users. Live Captions is a tool that creates text captions for videos and audio in real time, helping people with hearing difficulties. Cocreator is a text-to-image tool inside Microsoft Paint that lets users create drawings with the help of AI. Restyle Image and Image Creator allow users to edit and generate images in the Photos app. Cocreator is available now, while Restyle Image and Image Creator will roll out soon to Intel and AMD devices.
Microsoft has also introduced Voice Access, a tool that lets users control their PC using voice commands. This tool aims to make navigation easier without needing to learn complex voice commands. At first, Voice Access will only be available on Snapdragon X devices, but Microsoft plans to release it for Intel and AMD Copilot+ PCs later this year.
One feature still missing from Intel and AMD devices is Recall. Microsoft had tested this AI-powered memory tool last year, but it was pulled due to privacy concerns. Microsoft has not shared any new details about when or if it will return.
