PGA TOUR 2K25 Released on PC & Consoles
2K has announced the release of PGA TOUR 2K25, the latest golf simulation game from HB Studios. The game is now available worldwide on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. It brings improved graphics, new gameplay mechanics, and better customization options for players who love golf.
New Features and Gameplay Enhancements
PGA TOUR 2K25 introduces EvoSwing, a new system that improves how players take shots. It works for both Swing Stick and 3-Click Swing, giving a more realistic feel when swinging a golf club.
The game also includes Perfect Swing, a new difficulty mode that makes it easier for beginners. It ensures perfect contact with the ball, helping players focus on choosing the right club, shot type, and angle without struggling with timing. Experienced players can also use this mode to enjoy a more relaxed game.
For the first time in the series, players can compete in three famous Major Championships:
- The 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club
- The 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club
- The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club
Expanded Course Selection and Topgolf Mode
The game features 27 real-life courses, including famous locations like TPC Scottsdale, Pebble Beach, and TPC Sawgrass. The Topgolf mode also returns with new challenges. Additionally, The Old Course at St. Andrews Links will be added in Season 2.
Play as Professional Golfers
PGA TOUR 2K25 lets players control professional golfers for the first time. The game includes 11 pro golfers at launch, such as:
- Tiger Woods
- Max Homa
- Matt Fitzpatrick
- Justin Thomas
- Lydia Ko
- Brooke Henderson
The game also includes Chris McDonald, “The World’s Greatest Golfer,” as a special character.
PGA TOUR 2K25 MyPLAYER and MyCAREER Improvements
The MyPLAYER mode now offers more customization options. Players can choose their look, clothing, and gear from brands like adidas, FootJoy, Callaway, and Titleist. There are five playstyles (Powerhouse, Technician, Magician, Greenskeeper, and Sculptor) to match different golfing strategies.
MyCAREER mode has also been improved with new training sessions, pre-tournament events, and more choices for players. Players can also simulate rounds or play extra moments from their career.
Seasons and Clubhouse Pass Rewards
The game features Seasons, with new content updated daily, weekly, and monthly. Each Season comes with a Clubhouse Pass that offers 100 tiers of rewards, including equipment, clothing, and skill upgrades.
Players can choose between:
- Free rewards available to everyone
- Clubhouse Pass Premium, which unlocks rewards for each Season
- Member’s Pass (included in the Legend Edition), which gives access to Seasons 1-5 and extra outfits
Multiplayer and Online Competitions
PGA TOUR 2K25 has multiple multiplayer modes, including Stroke Play, Match Play, and Scramble. Players can play locally or online. Ranked Tours allow players to compete in daily and weekly tournaments to win rewards and climb leaderboards.
The game also has cross-platform Societies, so friends can play together no matter which system they own.
The Course Designer returns with new tools, better graphics, and more customization options. Players can create detailed golf courses faster and share them with others.
