The Xiaomi REDMI K80 Pro has begun internal testing for the HyperOS 2.0.11.0 update. This 174MB update introduces the MIHC, Xiaomi’s self-developed codec, promising CD-quality audio when paired with REDMI Buds 6 Pro.

The REDMI K80 series, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Extreme Edition processors, features a 2K screen, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68 rating. Prices start at 2,499 yuan. Meanwhile, the REDMI Buds 6 Pro, launched on November 27, has a ceramic coaxial three-unit design and supports multiple audio codecs, priced at 399 yuan.
