At the ongoing Samsung Galaxy Global New Product Launch Conference, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra was officially unveiled. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition For Galaxy processor and offers 12GB or 16GB of RAM, with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The trial pricing for the different configurations is as follows:

  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: Trial price $1,399
  • 12GB RAM + 512GB storage: Trial price $1,539
  • 16GB RAM + 1TB storage: Trial price $1,879

These prices are part of a trial offer, and once the official retail prices are announced at the China launch event on February 11, any excess payment will be refunded, but no additional charge will be made for any shortfall.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

In terms of design, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is the “thinnest S series model in history,” measuring 77.6 × 162.8 × 8.2 mm. The frame has been slimmed down by 15% compared to the S24 Ultra, resulting in a more compact body weighing 218 grams. The device has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The display is a 6.9-inch QHD+ second-generation Dynamic AMOLED screen, offering a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz), along with VisionBooster and adaptive color tone technology for enhanced visual performance in different lighting conditions.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

In terms of performance, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition For Galaxy chip, which delivers a 40% improvement in NPU performance, a 37% boost in CPU power, and a 30% increase in GPU performance. The device is also equipped with a larger heat sink, improving cooling efficiency by 40% over the S24 Ultra and 15% more than the Galaxy S25 and S25+. It has up to 16GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery.

On the imaging front, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features a new 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, supporting night video and 10-bit HDR video recording. The AI-driven features include “audio eraser,” “virtual aperture,” “generative editing,” and “smart portrait.” The full camera setup is as follows:
