Thermaltake UX400 entry-level CPU air cooler series launched
Thermaltake has launched a new series of budget-friendly CPU air coolers called the UX400. This new series includes three versions: ARGB Sync White, ARGB Sync Black, and a Matte Black version. Thermaltake UX400 coolers are made for people who want good cooling for their CPU without spending too much money.
The UX400 series uses a single-tower design. Each cooler is 125 mm long, 92 mm wide, and 152 mm tall. Inside the cooler, there are four U-shaped copper heat pipes. These heat pipes are 6 mm thick and directly touch the CPU to take away heat quickly. This helps keep your CPU cool while working or playing games.
The Thermaltake UX400 coolers come with a 120 mm fan. This fan can change its speed depending on how hot your CPU gets. It runs between 700 to 1800 RPM (rotations per minute). It can push 62.72 CFM of air and has a static pressure of 1.47 mm-H2O, which helps in cooling. Even when working hard, the fan only makes around 25 dBA of noise, which is quiet.

The ARGB Sync versions of the UX400 have RGB lighting. The fan includes 9 addressable LEDs that you can customise using software from motherboard brands like ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, BIOSTAR, and ASRock. You can make the lights change colour and pattern as you like.
The Thermaltake UX400 supports both Intel and AMD processors. It comes with brackets that work with the latest CPU sockets like LGA1851 (Intel) and AM5 (AMD). This makes it easy to install on many different motherboards.
This new series looks quite similar to the UX200 SE coolers that came out in 2023. However, the UX400 has better-designed heat pipes to give more space around the CPU area and includes a newer 120 mm fan for better performance.
Thermaltake UX400 Pricing
On Thermaltake’s website, ARGB Sync Black and White versions of Thermaltake UX400 are priced at NT$790, which is about $24 USD. The Matte Black version costs NT$690, which is around $21 USD.
