Ubisoft shows new Star Wars Outlaws story expansion, coming May 15
Ubisoft has shared the first trailer for Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune, a new story expansion that will be released on May 15. This was announced during the Star Wars Celebration event. The trailer shows a new adventure with the main characters, Kay Vess and her little companion Nix.
In this new story, Kay and Nix go to a mysterious place called the Khepi system. There, they meet a famous pirate named Hondo Ohnaka, who joins them on their mission. They have to fight against a new enemy named Stinger Tash and her group, the Rokana Raiders. Their goal is to find hidden treasures inside the dangerous Khepi Tomb. During their journey, they also meet the Miyuki Trade League. This group gives them new jobs like smuggling risky items in exchange for rewards that can be used on Kay’s spaceship, the Trailblazer.
To play A Pirate’s Fortune, players must first finish the main story of Star Wars Outlaws. This is the second story pack for the game. It is free for those who already have the Season Pass. Others can buy it separately. People who have the Ultimate or Deluxe Edition of the game will also get extra cosmetic items like the Naboo Nobility and Desert Nomad packs. On the same day the story pack launches, all players will receive free items based on the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew show. These items will appear in the delivery crate once the game is updated.
Players who haven’t tried Star Wars Outlaws can now download a free demo. This demo is available on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC through Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store, and Steam. It gives players three hours of gameplay to experience the world of Kay Vess and see what the game is like. The demo will be available permanently.
Ubisoft also announced that Star Wars Outlaws will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4. This gives even more players a chance to enjoy the game later this year.
Star Wars Outlaws
Star Wars Outlaws is a game full of action and space adventures. Players take on the role of Kay Vess, a scoundrel trying to survive in the galaxy by taking risky jobs. The game is already out on Xbox, PlayStation 5, Amazon Luna, and PC. Ubisoft+ Premium subscribers can also access the Ultimate Edition of the game.
