Unboxing
The UPERFECT UMax 24 comes in a plain white box with a very simple design. On the front of the box, you only see a picture of the monitor and the words “Portable Monitor.” There is no mention of the UPERFECT brand or any extra details. I was a bit surprised by the lack of branding, as it made me wonder at first.
When you open the box, you find the monitor neatly placed between two foam layers.
This shows that the company cared more about protecting the monitor than about fancy packaging. The box also includes two USB-C to USB-C cables, a mini HDMI to HDMI cable, a 45W power adapter. Overall, the unboxing is smooth and shows that UPERFECT has made sure your new monitor is safe and ready to use.

Looking at the back, the stand is an interesting design choice. When folded, it is attached to the lower half of the monitor.
The main kickstand is located in the middle and can fold and unfold up to 180 degrees, allowing users to adjust the viewing angle as needed. This built-in stand is a standout feature of the 24.5-inch wall-mounted computer monitor, setting it apart from traditional monitors. I used the UPERFECT UMax 24 as my primary monitor, and from the moment I set it up, the experience was impressive. The 24.5-inch 2K (2560 × 1440) IPS panel offers sharp details and vibrant colours, making everyday tasks like browsing, editing, and media consumption enjoyable. Thanks to the IPS technology, the viewing angles are excellent, ensuring a consistent image no matter where I’m sitting.
The 165Hz refresh rate makes everything feel incredibly smooth, whether I’m scrolling through web pages or playing fast-paced games. Motion blur is minimal, and the overall experience is fluid and responsive. The anti-glare coating does a good job of handling reflections, making it comfortable to use even in bright rooms.
One important thing to note is that the 165Hz refresh rate is only available when using a Type-C signal input. If you connect via HDMI, the refresh rate is limited to 144Hz. This is something to keep in mind if you’re looking to take full advantage of the monitor’s high refresh rate.
